I fell in love with MGB's when I was in high school and finally bought my first one during my senior year. That MGB still is in my collection of cars today. Since that time my collection and passion for the hobby has grown to a house with 2 seperate garages(His and Hers). The car collection now include the following vehicles: 1974 MGB, 1967 Land Rover 109"(under restoration), 1972 Porsche 914.
More to come later
1974 MG B
Purchased this MG during the winter of 1991(Sr year of high school) and have added over 65k miles during my ownership. This car has been enjoyed as a father/son project which has included an engine rebuild, overdrive conversion and numerous other repairs over the years. The car served as my daily until 1997 when I purchased the Corvette.
1967 Land Rover Series IIa 109
Under going a frame off restoration. Bought from original owner with about 33k miles on it but the frame and the firewall has suffered from rust over the years.
Update on this project...the new footwells and front doorposts are now welded in and the doors fit properly. A new doorpost for the passenger side rear door was recently installed. The driver side rear door post needs to be completed next and then the whole body can be lifted off the old frame. At that point the real fun begins....
