Okay...I am passing through middle age, I have sold off the TR6 after finally getting it just right and reliable. Dr. Steve Hornick is now the lucky owner of the Triumph. Down to one ( hardly seems like enough) Mini. Since it was reliable when I got it , I have done everything I can to "improve" on it , so now it mostly sits idley by, waiting for me to put it back together. I tell myself it saves on"wear and tear ".
1983 Austin Mini
Ok, this is the real year of mini..'83 Mayfair. New dash spring of '07, new carpet, new axle seals ( any and all seals) still leaks oil....I think it seeps through the pores of the aluminum crankcase. Actually have all lights working ! Although, with headlights on and all 4 auxillary lights on at the same time.....it stalls ! Sucks all the juice right out of the system.
